Value Propositions – how to build, research and test your fundraising value proposition
Course Overview
Discover how to lead the strategic development of your charity’s narrative, so that it enables great fundraising.
In Sargeant and Jay’s book “Fundraising Management: Analysis, Planning and Practice” it was shared that longitudinal analysis demonstrates that charities who consistently convey and reinforce what makes them distinctive, outperform others in the long run.
Fundraisers can gain strategic control of this distinctive narrative through careful cross-organisation collaboration to define their charity’s value proposition.
A value proposition tells prospective supporters why they should support you rather than anyone else, and it makes the benefits of your obvious fundraising offer from the outset.
In this short course, you will learn what makes a good value proposition and discover methodologies for developing one for your organisation.Learning Outcomes
