AI for Fundraisers: Learn How to Build Your Own AI Assistants with Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to Supercharge Your Fundraising
Course overview
This highly practical, one-day masterclass empowers fundraisers to use generative AI, using your enterprise Gen AI tool of choice amongst Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Participants will learn how to design AI assistants that can be reused across their role, to help analyse data, and create donor-first, data-led, scalable initiatives.
We're now piloting a new Course + Coaching model, giving participants the option to add two individual 1-hour coaching sessions after the course.
The coaching is designed to bridge the gap between learning and implementation. You'll work 1:1 with Maisa to apply what you've learned to your own organisation, fundraising goals and challenges, helping you move from ideas to practical next steps.
Meet your coach: Maisa Lopes Gomes FFIA is Head of Digital Fundraising at Cerebral Palsy Alliance and an experienced fundraising practitioner, educator and international speaker in AI for Non-Profits. She works hands-on across CPA's diversified $40M+ fundraising portfolio, leading strategic growth with data-led technology-enabled supporter experiences, digital fundraising and AI augmentation. Your coaching gives you direct access to that practical experience, tailored to the opportunities and challenges within your own organisation.
Redesigning roles to maximise efficient fundraising as it has never been possible before.
Overlaying your donor value segments with what supporters actually tell you, to hear what High, Mid and Low-value donors each care about. You'll leave with knowledge of how to build your own AI assistants and a saved prompt library to build on the next day.
Rather than teaching three tools separately, you'll learn one portable method: context, prompting, and meta prompting, that transfers across tools, so it's not wasted if your workplace switches.
Optional 1:1 coaching add-on
Add two individual 1-hour coaching sessions with Maisa after the course for an additional AUD $350. Email training@fia.org.au for more information.
| Course | Optional Coaching | Total | |
|---|---|---|---|
| FIA Member AU | $530 | $350 | AUD $880 |
| Non-member AU | $690 | $350 | AUD $1,040 |
| FIA Member NZ | $550 | $350 | NZD $900 |
| Non-member NZ | $690 | $350 | NZD $1,040 |
What to expect:
This is a method course, not a tool tutorial. You'll work hands-on in the AI tool you already use and learn an approach that transfers across tools.
You'll also see firsthand that AI gives different results each time, we use that as a core lesson in why you always review and refine, never blindly trust output. You'll leave with strong starting points to develop in your own time, not finished campaigns.
What you’ll learn
- Learn how to prompt and use the meta-prompting method.
